SSIS Coordinator and Mentor Information

SSIS Coordinator and Mentor Information
The SSIS mentor role is to support the use of SSIS within the local agency. This work supports high quality accurate data for workers and data reporting. Each mentor’s specific role varies across agencies to meet agency-specific needs. In most agencies SSIS mentors concentrate on either worker or fiscal related responsibilities. In some agencies, however, mentor responsibilities lie in both areas.

Worker Mentor Program
SSIS worker mentors provide front line assistance to local agency workers, coming right to the user’s workstation to explain and demonstrate SSIS functionality. Each mentor works closely with the SSIS county coordinator to ensure training opportunities, communicate new SSIS version features and provide technical support. When mentors are unable to troubleshoot problems and require assistance themselves, they have assigned access to contact the SSIS Help Desk.
