Sprint Review 15
We deployed the application statewide with our MVP1 features for create and submit a new time record, to approximately 11,500 workers who now have access at all local agencies across the state. We also kicked off UAT today for MVP2 which is the Activity Log functionality so workers can see the records they have submitted and search for existing records in the grid. Below are the Sprint goals and actual results.
10/22/25 – 11/11/25
Sprint 15 Goal: Make the Activity Log the landing page, create Action menu for signing off and viewing records. Complete design, development, and QA testing of System Downtime Banner. Implement and test the banner to make sure we can take this down without redeploying the application. Work on design of viewing records and creating draft versions of time records before they are submitted to SSIS. Deploy the application statewide to all SSIS users with the function Worker Default Activities. Deploy the Activity Log functionality to UAT for testing to occur with external users.
Actual: The team decided to hold on the sign-off functionality until we hear from end users that they are using this feature and it is needed in the web app. Focus has been on the draft versions and viewing records instead as this is where value has been determined to be for users, and this will help eliminate workarounds like saving notes temporarily in Word or Notepad. Activity Log development and QA work was completed for desktop view, including making the Activity Log the home page and landing page. Enhancements and defects were addressed that were reported by pilot users for the production release statewide. The system downtime banner work was completed; this was successfully tested and taken down without redeploying. The application was deployed to all SSIS users statewide, and the Activity Log functionality was held back with a feature flag in Production, that was released to UAT for external testing to occur with 17 users.
11/12/25 – 12/2/25
Sprint 16 Goal: UAT kick-off and testing by local agency workers for the Activity Log in the first two weeks of the sprint (10 business days, through 11/25/25). Create Action menu to View a record in the web app as read-only with all development and QA functional testing completed. Design and development work completed for draft records, including functionality to Create, Save, Edit, and Discard the draft in the web app prior to submission to be completed by the end of this sprint. Enhance the Activity Log view for mobile devices as it is currently optimized for desktop screen sizes.
