Time Entry Transformation Web App Update - Statewide Rollout

We are now on to statewide release for all SSIS users with our new Time Entry Transformation (TET) web app. After three successful pilot rounds with 16 agencies, we are rolling out the application for statewide use!

Users Added: More than 7,500

Total Access: Approximately 11,500 workers across all county and Tribal Nation agencies statewide

The TET web app allows users to login/out securely, switch databases (if multiple are available), and create and submit new time records.

Round 3 Defect Highlights (Anoka, Chippewa, Goodhue, Hubbard, Kandiyohi, Le Sueur, Olmsted, Ramsey, Traverse, and Western Prairie (Pope/Grant) Counties – 3,000 users)

We found 1 new problem that has since been fixed in round three with around 3,000 users from the counties listed above. The problems are grouped into common themes below.

Trouble logging in with county account

Users can only be logged into one browser at a time. Use a different browser or log into office.com with your agency email, log out, then go to the TET website and log in with SSISUserID@partner.mn.gov. 

Note field didn’t allow many characters

Users can now use letters, numbers, and special characters.  (trademark), (service mark), and ® (registered trademark) symbols were added for copy/pasting from external third-party email apps.

Workgroup dropdown sorted alphabetically

Fixed

Type in the search bar to quickly find the workgroup. Workgroups are now sorted alphabetically by name.

Activity Dropdown Filtering

Fixed

Users were reporting Admin and Payroll activities displaying when the SSIS Admin settings showed they should not be visible in Production.

What’s Next

December: The next iteration of the web app with the Activity Log is released statewide.

Ongoing: We’ll keep fixing bugs and adding new features.  

Engagement: Counties and Tribal Nation partners will continue to inform how the app should work.
