Welcome to the Social Service Information System (SSIS) Business Operations and User Support engagement and information site. This site is organized for county and Tribal agency SSIS mentors, coordinators and supervisors to find resources and participate in various engagement opportunities with the SSIS Business and Training Section at the Department of Children, Youth, and Families.

The department is committed to providing our SSIS coordinators, mentors and end-users with support in user experience, system design, system-related troubleshooting, guidance and information.

  2. User Support: Tribal and county social service staff will know the requirements and features of the system and will have support to resolve problems.
  3. Accountability: SSIS will ensure requirements, data quality, fiscal responsibility and transparency.
  4. Community: SSIS will be human-centered in our work and guided by a commitment to equity, inclusion and partnership.

Get to know the SSIS support teams

  • Business Operations and Modernization Teams - Works with our MNIT, policy and local agency partners on the continuity of system operations, impacts on system design and system modernization.
  • Learning and Development Team - Provides effective, engaging and equitable learning solutions using innovative methods and best practices to enhance our partners' proficiency with SSIS.
  • Tier 1 Help Desk - Provides quality and timely response to system inquiries from state users and local agencies.
  • Mentor Coordinator - bridges the work of this section and coordinates resources, learning events, mentor and coordinator communications, and SSIS Partnership.

    Hello and welcome to the SSIS Training Sandbox Request Form.  Please complete this form for any of the following circumstances:

    • You have been appointed as your agency's Primary Mentor contact to manage the SSIS Training Sandbox.
    • You need to update your agency's Primary Mentor contact information.
    • You need to reserve usage of the SSIS Training Sandbox.

    Completion of this form will allow us to track usage in an effort to prevent system issues related to load.  When you submit this form the owner will see your name and email details. If you are a new Primary Mentor, we will follow up and schedule training with you.
