When you make an entry through this process in SSIS, can i read the note in SSIS and make changes?
asked 25 days agoYes! When you create and submit a new time record from the web app, it is saved to the SSIS database just like any other time entry. You can open that record in SSIS later and view or edit it, including the Notes section. The only limitation is that the Note field will still lock after 30 days—just as it does for all notes entered directly in SSIS today.

Scleveland1968 asked 9 months agoYes, this will happen with the new application. The records must transfer from the web app into the existing application and existing databases upon save by the user. The time records will be viewable in the existing SSIS activity log regardless of where they are generated (from existing application or new web app). They will follow all downstream revenue business rules for claim generation and state reporting as well.

Are testers finding this tool to be a time saver for time entry?
Jill asked 3 months agoTesters are finding the tool helpful and say it saves time, especially when creating a new time entry in the web app. Right now, we’re testing how much time it really saves by comparing it to our baseline tests and looking at real data from people using it at work. This helps us get the most accurate results. The current testing that is going on with User Acceptance Testing or UAT is focused on basic features, like creating a new time record and submitting it to the database, but more features will be added soon to help even more. Some of these features are meant to help case workers work faster and easier. We're improving things step by step, and each update makes the tool more helpful over time.

HollyAnn asked 3 months agoThanks for the great feedback, HollyAnn! This is something we are considering, including the need for templates in the case note section and drafts that you can return to and edit before submitting the final version to the SSIS database. We have also received the suggestion to move the note section to be either the first or the last field on the screen as users don’t like having to click around on the fields, stop what they are doing to enter a note, and then start clicking fields again.
Do you agree with these needs or have any other specific suggestions for improvements that we could add to our product backlog as a future enhancement?
Thanks so much for participating – you are helping make this product work best for everyone who needs to use it!

mike o asked 3 months agoWe are offering Olmsted County a spot in pilot rollout wave 3, which is planned to deploy on 10/22. Please note that this rollout schedule is subject to change depending on what is reported to the product team that may need to be addressed.
There shouldn’t be much involvement needed from your IT Department. As a test ahead of time, you can try to go to the website that will be used for SSIS Time Entry which is https://time.ssis.mn.gov.
If you can successfully navigate to the web page, you will be able to access the site without your IT Department doing anything as this application will be using your existing SSIS credentials.
If Olmsted County doesn’t wish to be a pilot agency and test this in advance of release to all users, statewide rollout is tentatively planned for 11/12 and all agencies will receive access at that time.
Please let us know if you have any further questions!

Jill asked about 2 months agoLocal agencies are responsible for data security practices surrounding the use of applications and agency-issued devices. The state does not manage or control these devices, so each local agency must take precautions to properly safeguard and protect their private data. While we haven’t added a speech-to-text feature directly into the web app yet, you may have this functionality available natively on the mobile device you are using. We recommend you review any policies related to the use of your agency-issued device and consult with your data privacy team at the county or Tribal Nation you work for before using this service on your device. If your agency policies related to the use of your agency-issued device allow for speak-to-text, we strongly recommend ensuring that the settings on your phone for speech-to-text processing are switched to on-device rather than cloud-based for greater privacy and security.
