Here is a review of our Sprint 24 and Sprint 25 goals and our actual results.
Sprint 24: 04/29/2026 – 05/19/2026
Sprint 25: 05/20/2026 – 06/09/2026
Sprint 24 and Sprint 25 Goals: Focus on Edit Submitted time records and begin development on a Case Load Button.
- Actual Results: UAT finished during Sprint 25. Work on the Editing Submitted time entries has been completed successfully so this function will be included in the major code release on June 2, 2026. Defects were remediated as work went on to minimize risk of disruption to users. Development is underway to add a Case Load Button to the web app. This button will allow users to add time records to another user’s caseload.
For additional information, users are encouraged to visit the SSIS home page to access the Time Entry Web App job aids.
The Time Entry Transformation project will end at the end of June 2026. Issues with the web app should continue to be reported to the SSIS Help Desk and defects will be remediated as they arise. The Case Load Button is the last major enhancement being worked on with an estimated release date in August 2026. Currently, there is no plan for future work on additional enhancements.

Sprint Review 16
Share Sprint Review 16 on Facebook Share Sprint Review 16 on Twitter Share Sprint Review 16 on Linkedin Email Sprint Review 16 linkHere is a reminder of our sprint 16 goal, our actual results, and our goal for sprint 17.
11/12/25 – 12/2/25
Sprint 16 Goal: UAT kick-off and testing by local agency workers for the Activity Log in the first two weeks of the sprint (10 business days, through 11/25/25). Create Action menu to View a record in the web app as read-only with all development and QA functional testing completed. Design and development work completed for draft records, including functionality to Create, Save, Edit, and Discard the draft in the web app prior to submission to be completed by the end of this sprint. Enhance the Activity Log view for mobile devices as it is currently optimized for desktop screen sizes.
- Actual Results: UAT kick-off meeting held with 17 county workers at 13 agencies to launch testing, which was extended through 12/2/25 to gather additional feedback. Enhancements were implemented based on user feedback to add the Purpose field to Quick Entry (non-program related time entries), add date ranges to be more consistent with SSIS in the Activity Log view, add a button to navigate back to View Activity Log OR Create New Time Entry rather than only having the new entry option, and we added Information icons for the Total and Current View calculations to guide users on what this means. Defects were remediated for the Activity dropdown sorting that were reported previously by users. All remaining development work was moved to sprint 17 for Action Menu, View Records, and Create Draft Records. Development and functional testing of the card view (which can be used instead of grid view) for mobile device viewers of the Activity Log is underway.
12/3/25 – 12/23/25
Sprint 17 Goal: Release major code statewide for the new Activity Log functionality, which is currently optimized for desktop viewing. Create new action menu to View a Record with QA functional testing completed. Complete development for functionality with Create, Save, Edit, and Discard Draft Records. Complete QA and accessibility testing on the mobile view of the Activity Log functionality.

Sprint Review 15
Share Sprint Review 15 on Facebook Share Sprint Review 15 on Twitter Share Sprint Review 15 on Linkedin Email Sprint Review 15 linkWe deployed the application statewide with our MVP1 features for create and submit a new time record, to approximately 11,500 workers who now have access at all local agencies across the state. We also kicked off UAT today for MVP2 which is the Activity Log functionality so workers can see the records they have submitted and search for existing records in the grid. Below are the Sprint goals and actual results.
10/22/25 – 11/11/25
Sprint 15 Goal: Make the Activity Log the landing page, create Action menu for signing off and viewing records. Complete design, development, and QA testing of System Downtime Banner. Implement and test the banner to make sure we can take this down without redeploying the application. Work on design of viewing records and creating draft versions of time records before they are submitted to SSIS. Deploy the application statewide to all SSIS users with the function Worker Default Activities. Deploy the Activity Log functionality to UAT for testing to occur with external users.
Actual: The team decided to hold on the sign-off functionality until we hear from end users that they are using this feature and it is needed in the web app. Focus has been on the draft versions and viewing records instead as this is where value has been determined to be for users, and this will help eliminate workarounds like saving notes temporarily in Word or Notepad. Activity Log development and QA work was completed for desktop view, including making the Activity Log the home page and landing page. Enhancements and defects were addressed that were reported by pilot users for the production release statewide. The system downtime banner work was completed; this was successfully tested and taken down without redeploying. The application was deployed to all SSIS users statewide, and the Activity Log functionality was held back with a feature flag in Production, that was released to UAT for external testing to occur with 17 users.
